Hi can anyone help, I have a turbo 2 with the chassis no 8221......182.
It was registered in France in 1985.I have searched the internet and cannot find another quite like it. front wings are vented and rear wings are wider than normal??
How many did renault produce in 1985? some say 200 others say 182.
Does anybody know?

renault produce in 1985, 200 turbo 2 chassis 8221 & and it's not normal than your rear wings are not vented because every turbo have all wings vented.

Your car is one of the last Renault 5 Turbo 2 8221 who where built for the homologation of the Renault 5 Maxi.

Thank you Phil, I have attached a photo to show the wings, it has also coil over front suspension which im told is not standard? It has very close gear ratios and a lsd fitted?

your front wings looks like the wings of the Maxi 5 groupe "B". your car wasn't built with front wings like that.
Maybe the firt owner has change the originaly wings for those one.
Sorry my english is not so good than i would it be but if you use simply words we could understand each other.
